Evert Dixon has a strong background as a General Contractor and is known for dedication to quality and customer service. He started his career with Centex Homes in the Central Valley in the early 1990’s as a second lead in the day-to-day production build of subdivisions. He went on to manage multi-family projects and build upper-end subdivisions with well-known builders such as Westland Development, Mangano Homes, Centex Homes and Wathen Castanos.
Evert established Evert Dixon Construction, Inc., in 2014, and continued to work closely with these visionary developers who focus on quality building. Together, he helped to create beautiful, yet functional developments including custom single-family homes, commercial, and high-end residential remodels in the Central Valley.
Evert has a documented history of producing landmark projects, ranging from elegant single-family homes, prestigious retail developments and attractive multifamily projects.
Ken Turner started construction in 1992 in the Kansas City area swinging a hammer for Schwenk Roofing. By the late 1990’s, he had worked for several roofing contractors and was running the day-to-day operations for RWR Roofing.
In 2002, he moved to Porterville, CA to be a loan officer for Country Club Mortgage.
Ken took an opportunity came about in 2007 to join Smee Builders. Ken worked closely with the owner, Gary Smee, on subdivision development and home construction. His duties included, entitlements, working with civil engineers to get improvement plans completed, coordinate utility drawings and installation, supervising horizontal construction, and creating systems for sales and vertical construction of tract homes.
In the early 2000’s, Ken started managing rental units for himself and a few customers. This turned into Blue Sky Property Management which, at the time of sale in April 2023, was managing over 700 units, 2 shopping centers, and 2 HOA’s.
In 2011, Ken bought an existing Mountain Mike’s Pizza franchise in Visalia. 2 years later, he opened a new Mountain Mikes Pizza restaurant in Hanford. He was in the pizza business for about 10 years, and sold both restaurants in 2022.
